CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD MEETING
JANUARY 17, 1983
The Code Enforcement Board Meeting was called to order by Chairman George Mahoney
at 7:00 p. m.
Roll Call:
Jay Alpert, present
George Mahoney, present
Ben Kaplan, present
D. Robert Smedley, present
Victor Suarez, present
J. R. Hattaway, present
Kenneth Smith, present
Officer Charles Sexton, present
Officer Wesley Dowell, absent
Jack Cooper, Code Prosecutor, present
Motion was made by Alpert, seconded by Kaplan to approve the minutes of November 15,
1982. Motion carried.
Discussion of new, pending and closed cases - discussed.
Board members suggestions to Code Inspector - discussed.
Chairman to poll members individually for comments and/or suggestions:
After discussing thoroughly the methods Mr. Cooper has used to present cases to the
Board, it was determined by the majority of the Board,that Mr. Cooper's method of
presentation has been completely satisfactory and the Board instructed him to continue
to present the cases using the same methods he has used for the past two years.
Motion was made by Suarez, seconded by Alpert to adjourn. Motion carried. (8:21 p.m.)
