HomeMy WebLinkAbout1998 08 12 Regular OFFICE OF THE MA Y'OR WINTER SPRINGS, FLORllDA PRO C LAMA TION WHEREAS, ARBOR DAY, is symbolic of the early conservation movement, and has been observed in the United States in various ways for a hundred years; and WHEREAS, there has been increased interest in planting trees because of the outstanding role that trees play in improving our environment; and WHEREAS, Trees are responsible for producing oxygen, for controlling floods, and for providing a wildlife habitat. NOW, THEREFORE., I, PAUL P. PARTYKA, MAYOR OF THE.
