Garden Clubs: Jacobs reported that, although the
garden club she contacted is sanctioned and was
once active, they now are elderly and no longer wish
to participate in "garden club" type activities. In
essence, they are a "garden club" in name only.
Contact person: Margaret Hannah, 695-0610.
Stephens suggested having a list of garden clubs,
and the City and the Beautification Board should
include the various clubs in any projects whenever
possible. (Brown to contact a garden club in
Tuscawilla.)
