Mrs. Nancy MacNamara and Mr. Tom McDowell, new Principal of Winter Springs Elementary

painted. The sprinkler system is being used. Trash is being picked up, and the grounds
mowed. Mr. McDowell has met with a landscaping committee, and has written to the parents
about the needs of the school. He got a very good response from them. He said he would
like to put split rail fencing in front and by the driveway in order to keep cars from
driving into the park. Mr. Mike Martin, City Forester, has said he will help plant trees,

is planted there, the planting will survive. Discussion. Mrs. MacNamara said the
School Board has a maintenance crew that will come out and mulch and plant, etc.. Mr.
McDowell is going to meet with the School Board committee next Monday. Tree planting
was discussed. Mrs. MacNamara said they would keep the Board informed of whats going on.
