BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MINUTES
December 1, 1988
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M.
BOARD MEMBERS:
James Greene, Chairman, Present

Approval of Amended Minutes of June 2, 1988, Approval of Minutes of August 4,
1988, and Approval of Minutes of August 18, 1988:
Reid moved to approve the minutes of June 2, 1988, August 4, 1988, and August
18, 1988. Seconded by Donnelly. Vote: All aye. Motion carried.
Election of Officers:
Reid moved to elect James Green as Chairman. Seconded by Donnelly. Vote: all
aye. Motion carried.
Donnelly moved to elect Reid as Vice-Chairman. Seconded by Bozic. Vote: all
aye. Motion carried.
Request of Wesley E. Meyers for a Variance to Section 5-126 of the Code to
construct a fence 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 feet in height at the front building line on
property located at 840 Dyson Drive, Lot 199, Winter Springs Unit 3. The
property is zoned P. U . D. :
Greene stated that this variance is not to allow the fence, but to allow the
fence to be 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 feet in lieu of 4 foot as stated in the code.
LeBlanc stated that this was correct.
Wesley Meyers was present to speak for his request. He show:d the Board
pictures of a next door neighbor I s fence, which is on the corner next to his
hane, that has the front wrought iron and the pillars are 6 foot 9 inches in
sane areas of the fence. He stated that he plans to have stone columns with
wrought iron in between at a height of 5 1/2 feet to 6 1/2 feet. He stated
that it would be inconformance with the neighbor I s fence. He also gave the
Board a petition with all his neighbors signatures on it stating that they
didn I t have any problem with the height of the fence.
Meyers also stated that the wrought iron and stone colwnn fence would only be
in the front of his property, on the rest of the property there will be chain
link fence.
Reid moved to approve the request. Seconded by Donnelly. Vote: All aye.
Motion carried.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:13 P.M.
