Winter Springs, Fl. 32708 Re: request of Florida Land Company for Conditional Use in zone C-1 to construct multi-family dwellings on south- east corner of S.R. 434 and Moss Rd. (part of Lots 52 and 53, Block D, D.R. Mitchell Survey). Dear Mrs. Norton: As the sole owner of Hacienda Village, the adjacent property to the above referenced request, I ask that this letter voicing my objection be forwarded to all members of the Board of Adjustments. TbemajoritY:oof, our residents are retired Senior Citizens who have chosen our park because of its relaxed, peaceful en- vironment. It is my contention that this atmosphere will be destroyed by a family development in such close proximity to our community. We have constantly had problems with children from sur- rounding neighborhoods trespassing, using our facilities and in many cases vandalizing our property. We have always felt these problems were somewhat minimized, especially from young- er children, due to Hayes Rd, Moss Rd. and S.R. 434 buffering our community. I feel that a family development of the type and density requested, with no recreational facilities will cause a change of character in our community and will create an undue hardship for our residents. My experience has been that fencing provides little pro- tection as they are easily skirted or climbed over. I trust that the compatabi1ity of a family development and an existing adult retirement community will be seriously ~~W'lffithe Board of Adjustment. 1~~ - ~ ~(!}J Sincerely, '7P(~cttJ~ Mark A.
