RESULTS:
. 66 participants registered for the blood drive, and 42 pints of blood was collected.
. Of the 210 current City Employees 31 % attempted to donate blood,
. This has been a successful Blood Drive, however, previous drives have produced more
donors, One reason for a drop in participants is that the Blood Bank will no longer take
blood from on.duty Fire and Police personnel.
. The most successful blood drive occurred in April 1997 where 62 pints of blood was
collected.
