BALDINO FDR A SPECIAL EXCEPTION TO CONSTRUGr A FENCE NEARER TO THE OUIER PROPERrY LINES THAN ALIaVED m ZONE RC-l AND HIGHER THAN ALIaVED WITHm 25 FEET OF .AN INrERSEGrrON, ON WI' 8-B, BLOCK F, NOID'H ORLANDO RANCHES SEmON I-A (TRAIEWINm AT FISHER RDS. ) The City Planner stated Mr>. Baldino's property is located on the northwest corner of Tradewinds and Fisher Roads. She explained the two requests of the applicant. The property consists of 1,1/2 acres. Mr>. ravid A. Baldino, 655 Diane Circle, Casselberry, spoke for his request. He is requesting a 6' high chain-link fence to secure the building site and to enable him to keep a large dog or horse later. He plans to spray the fence with water and iron sulfate to give the fence a rustic look. There was no one to speak for or against the applicant. The City Planner reccmnended approval of the height of 6' for the fence along Fisher and part of Tradewinds but recomnended disapproval of that part of the request to build within 25 feet of the intersection due to the safety factor. Binford stated that this would not be setting precedent as there is already a fence exceeding the 4' limitation. He also reported after talking with the Building Official he understood that Chapter 5-126 was mainly aimed at a subdivision-type environment to maintain 4' limitation. :cavis asked if at a later date if the above property is sold could the exception be used to construct something other than a chain-link fence? (Such as a permanent concrete fence). The City Planner reported Mr>. Bradshaw, Building Official would have to issue a building permit which would require the applicant to corne before this Board. Kessler roved to grant the exception along Fisher Road, but that the applicant be required to adhere to Sec. 5-127. (The fence cannot be closer than 25' from intersection of Fisher Road and Tradewinds). Seconded by Davis. Vote: AIl aye. Motion carried. . /D., /J J! --: L.
