REGULAR SESSION BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS MARCH 17, 1976 Board of Adjustment Meeting, March 17, 1976 was called to order by Chairman Bob Williams. All members were present except Robert Melton and Mary Brunner. The pledge of allegiance to the flag was led by Larry Pellerin. 1. Request by Mr. Mike Gannon, 426 Boxwood Circle, Winter Springs for a variance to appendix A, Art. 5, Sec. 44.42, Item 3, page 971, pertaining to front, rear and side yard regulations for R-l Family Dwellings. Mr. Gannon has a cement slab attached to his house which he would like to enclose as a screened in porch. This would bring his enclosure within five feet of his next door neighbor which is in violation. Motion was made by Mr. Carl Mitchell to grant the variance requested by Mr. Gannon to Appendix A, Article 5, Section 44.42, Item 3 pettaining to front, rear and side yard regulations in R-l family dwellings. Seconded by Mr. Larry Pellerin. Discussion. Motion carried unanUnously. Variance is granted. 2. At the last Board Meeting the request of Mr. & Mrs. Williamson for a variance to put up a five-foot fence was voted on. As it was a 2-2 vote and not a full Board present, the Board was in agreement to have this matter re-opened at the next meeting in April. The Board also requested Mr. Bradshaw to be present. 3. Motion was made by Mr. Larry Pellerin to accept the minutes of February 18, 1976 as recorded. Seconded by Mr. Bob Williams. Motion carried. 4. Under new business, Mr. Mitchell felt that the Board should go according to all the rules such as sending out registered letters, etc. There was a discussion of procedures to be followed. Mr. Williams said when requests come in, they will be in his folder, and for the Board members to look at them when they check their folders. The Board members also said they would like more time to review the requests. This will be discussed at the next meeting in April. 5. Next meeting is April 21, 1976. 6. Motion was made by Larry Pellerin to adjourn. Seconded by Carl Mitchell.
