SPECIAL SESSION
Board of Adjustment
City of Winter Springs
December 20, 1974
This special session of the Board of Adjustment, City of
Winter Springs was called to order oy Chairman Donald
Smith, Jr~ at 8:00 P.M. with members Carl Mitchell and
Bob Williams present.
The minutes for December 13, .1974 were approved following
the motion to add the words "question was raised about length
of time trailer was to be in place", first paragraph, p. 2,
by Bob ~illiams. The minutes were then unanimously approved
as corrected.
Old Business - Special Session
The Oity of Winter Springs request in writing to relocate the
existing police trailer on SR#434 to the new location on
North Flamingo adjacent to the new city hall complex. Mr.
Ray Bradshaw represented the city in this request.
Chairman Don Smith, Jr. pointed out taat the references in
the City Ordinances relating to this request wo~ld be as
follows: Article XIII General Nuisances, Section 44.75 rg. 997,
Article VII C-I ~eighborhood Commercial Districts, Section
44.47, p. 974.
Oarl Mitchell moved" to grant the request of the City of
Winter 3prings and the motion was seconded by Bob Williams.
Carl Mitchell then moved to amend the main motion.to add the
words, "for a period of one year, upon waich time a request
must again be made to the Board of Adjustment for an extension."
Seconded by Bob Williams. The motion was unanimously approved.
~he amended motion now reads: Hto grant the request of the
City of Winter Springs to relocate the police trailer to the
proposed site on N. Flamingo Ave. for a period of one year,
upon which time a request must again De made to the Board
of Adjustment for an extension." It was unantmouslyapproved.
No further business followed. The meeting was adjQurned at
8: 23 P .1-1.
