HomeMy WebLinkAbout1974 04 19 Board of Adjustment Regular Minutes e BOi3D OF ADJUSTr,~~~NT e e The Board of Adjustment of the City of '.linter Springs held a Pub- lic Hearing at 8:00 pm, Friday, April 19, 1974 at the City Hall of Vlinter Springs. Board members present were Don Smith, Chairman, and John Daniels. The purpose of the Public Hearing was to hear a request from l.:orton Silver and Associates to erect a temporary mobile office sales trailer on the Vlestern boundary of the Sheoah Country Club. Hr. Charles Katz represented Silver and Associates. The legal was read and is attached. ~T. Katz stated the trailer in question will be specially built for the intended purpose and it's construction will be 24' x 481, and "it." will resemble the attached photo when completed. An exact date could not be determined as to when construction 'Would 4liegin, but an estimated period of 90 days was a goal presented to the Board. The request for the erection of a temporary mobile office sales trailer was granted by the Board of Adjustment on Article IV, Section 44.45.2 and Article Xlll, Section 44.74, with the following stipulations agreed upon by ~Mr. Katz: Conditions: 1. The trailer would be erected no less than 125' from the propertr"line adjacent to the north side of State Road 434. 2. Landscaping plans are to be submitted and approved by the Board of Adjustment prior to the installation of the trailer. 3. All parking will be on the north side of the building, not to exceed south of the north line of the building. e 4. Install the trailer only after the roads are constructed, not paved, and building construction has begun on Phase 1. 5. The erection of the trailer is approved for no more than one year, and then only until sales office in the club house is com- , ... e 2. e ePleted. 6. The tr~iler will be removed no later than the 365th day after the erect~on date of the trailer. 7. The site of the trailer will be restored to it's natural wooded state, all or any paving and concrete to be removed. 8. The trailer is to be of the type in the picture presented to the Board. There was no formal or informal complaints made to the Board of Adjustment at any time Drior to this public hearing, and no objections were made knm'ffi du,ring the course of the hearing. The Public 'Hearing was then closed at 8:45 P~I and Chairman Smith opened the regularly scheduled public meeting as stated in the minutes of r.~rch 22, 1974. e There was no old business to discuss. There was a letter written by ~~. Donald Reid of 206 Bitterwood Street asking for a variance for a building addition of the patio type, to his existing home. ~~. Reid was present and ex~lained to the Board his request. }~. Reid was advised by John Daniels and Don Smith that the people within a specified distance of 500 feet, must be notified of the requested variance or exception. The Board of Adjustment \'Till then notify Er,. Reid whether a meeting or hearing will be held. No decision was made by the board member~ present concerning this request. ~x. Daniels suggested that a copy of the minutes of the Board of Adjustment be made available to the Chief of Police, so that he may be properly advised regarding any changes to existing city ordinances. eNO further business was discussed and the meeting of Anril 19, 1974 ~ms .~ adjourned.
