HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2005-47 BOT RESOLUTION 2005-47 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA DECLARING THAT FIVE (5) APPOINTMENTS WERE MADE TO THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES ON DECEMBER 12, 2005 IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 14.52. (a) OF THE CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS' ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF PRIOR INCONSISTENT RESOLUTIONS; SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, on December 12,2005, the City Commission ofthe City of Winter Springs, Florida ratified the Appointments of five (5) Members of the Board of Trustees, pursuant to Section 14.52. (a) ofthe City of Winter Springs' Code of Ordinances; and WHEREAS, on December 12, 2005, the City Commission of the City of Winter Springs, Florida ratified the Reappointment of Byron Giltz, Guy DeMaio, Robert Nippes, Vemon Rozelle, and A. Mark Sardo, each for a term of three (3) years. NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Commission of the City of Winter Springs, as follows: Section I. Repeal of Prior Inconsistent Resolutions: Resolutions adopted by the City Commission are hereby repealed. All pnor inconsistent Section II. Severability: If any section, clause, phrase, word, or provision is for any reason held invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction, whether for substantive or procedural reasons, such portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct, and independent provision, and such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this Resolution. Section III. Effective Date: This Resolution is effective immediately. ADOPTED pursuant to the proceedings of and at the December 12, 2005 Meeting of the City Commission of the City of Winter Springs, Florida, duly assembled in Winter Springs, Seminole County, Florida.
