A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA, RECOGNIZING MARY
ANNE WILLETT FOR HER 24 YEARS OF DEDICATED
SERVICE AS AN EMPLOYEE OF THE CITY OF WINTER
SPRINGS; AND EXPRESSING OUR APPRECIATION ON
BEHALF OF THE CITIZENS OF THE CITY OF WINTER
SPRINGS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
IIHEREAS, MARY ANNE WILLETT has provided the residents of Winter Springs with 24 years of
dedicated and distinguished service in the Winter Springs Public Works and Police Departments; and
WHEREAS, MARY ANNE WILLETT joined the Winter Springs Folice Department in the position of
Police Dispatcher in July 1984, became an Police Records Clerk in August, 1985, transferred to the Public Works
Department as a Clerk/Typist in November, 1986, was promoted to Administrative Secretary in November, 1998,
and has served in that capacity since; and
WHEREAS, MARY ANNE WILLETT has become known as the voice of Public Works to the residents
of Winter Springs due to the 10,000 requests for service calls she has received over the last 22 years.
NOW THEREFORE $E IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Winter
Springs, Florida as follows:
SECTION I -That the Mayor and Commission, City Manager, and Staff of the City of Winter Springs
takes great pleasure upon the occasion of MARY ANNE WILLETT'S retirement to recognize and honor her for
her uncommon level of distinguished service to the residents of Winter Springs. through her employment in the
Winter Springs Public Works and Police Departments.
SECTION II -That this Resolution commending the services of MARY ANNE WILLET be recorded
upon the official Public Records and Minutes of this City Commission of the City of Winter Springs, Florida.
SECTION III - That a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to MARY ANNE WILLETT with our
sincerest thanks for his many contributions.
