RESOLUTION 2001-07
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA AMENDING THE
CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS RESOLUTION 600, SECTION
II, (J), DEALING WITH CONSULTING FEES; PROVIDING
FOR THE REPEAL OF PRIOR INCONSISTENT
RESOLUTIONS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Winter Springs, Florida, has found it
necessary to periodically review and update its fee schedules pertaining too activities within the City;
and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Winter Springs, Florida, has determined
that it needs to revise its schedule for reimbursement of consulting fees, and
WHEREAS, through the advice of city staff the City Commission of Winter Springs finds
that a need from time to time to utilize various consultants in regard to reviewing development plans
for projects such as the Town Center and the Greeneway District, and
WHEREAS, the existing fee schedule limits reimbursement of professional fees to
consulting engineers and a wider range of consulting services is often required,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF WINTER SPRINGS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Winter Springs Resolution 600 Section II, (1) is hereby amended as follows:

Section II: the Official Fee Schedule for the City of Winter Springs is hereby amended
to read as follows:

1. Reimbursement of Consulting Engineering Fees:
For services required from the City's Consulting Engineer, Planner, Architect,
Landscape Architect, and Surveyor and other related technical and professional
services needed in connection with the review, inspection or approval of any
development, based on accounting submitted to City with letter of approval
(payable prior to approval of the pertinent stage of development +Actual Cost
Section 2. Repeal of Prior Inconsistent Resolutions. All prior inconsistent resolutions adopted
by the City Commission, or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith, are hereby repealed to the
extent of the conflict.

Section 3. Severability. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase, word or provision
of this resolution is for any reason held invalid or unconstitutional by any court of competent
jurisdiction, whether for substantive, procedural, or any other reason, such portion shall be deemed
a separate, distinct and independent provision, and such holding shall not affect the validity of the
remaining portions of this resolution.
Section 4. Effective Date. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption by
the City Commission of the City of Winter Springs, Florida,

meeting assembled on the 26th day of March, 2001
