RESOLUTION NO. 2001- 03
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF WINTER SPIRNGS, FLORIDA ESTABLISHING
THE FEES TO BE PAID BY INDIVIDUALS OR GROUPS FOR THE EXCLUSIVE USE
OF PICNIC PAVILIONS, PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Winter Springs, Florida has found it
necessary to periodically review its fee schedules pertaining to activities, facility use and labor
services with the City; and,
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Winter Springs, Florida has adopted
Resolution Number 787 establishing fees and charges; and,
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Winter Springs, Florida has determined
that it needs to implement a new picnic pavilion fee schedule.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA, THAT:
SECTION I. Individuals or groups can reserve and obtain exclusive use of Park
Pavilions on a first come, first serve basis, through scheduling with the Parks and Recreation
Department and the payment of a fee.
SECTION II. Three (3) pavilion sizes are available: Large, 6-8 tables under pavilion,
Medium, 3-4 tables under pavilion and Small, 1-2 tables under pavilion.
SECTION III. The fee schedule for an exclusive use permit for each picnic pavilion is
hereby established as $ 40.00 for large pavilion, $ 30.00 for medium pavilion, and $ 20.00 for
small pavilion. A permit shall be for a four (4) hour time period to be used for the day and time
scheduled.
SECTION IV. The exclusive use permit fee is refundable only when written
cancellation notice is received by the Parks and Recreation Department at 1126 East State Road
434 or hand delivered and received at 1000 East State Road 434, Winter Springs, Florida 32708,
ten (10) calendar days prior to the approved use date.

SECTION V. This resolution shall not apply to the use of any picnic pavilion pursuant
to any Recreation Program Agreement or Inter-local Agreement.
SECTION VI. This resolution shall remain in force and effect until supplemented,
amended, repealed or otherwise altered.
SECTION VII. Resolution No. 787 and then all other prior inconsistent and conflicting
Resolutions or parts of Resolutions herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION VIII. This Resolution shall take immediate effect upon its passage and
approval.
