RESOLUTION NUMBER 2000-21
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS,
FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING CERTAIN MEMBERS OF THE
HUMANE SOCIETY OF SEMINOLE COUNTY TO ASSIST
THE WINTER SPRINGS POLICE DEPARTMENT IN THE
INVESTIGATION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS IN WINTER
SPRINGS.
WHEREAS, the HUMANE SOCIETY OF SEMINOLE COUNTY, FLORIDA,
INe. is organized and chartered to advance the cause of humane treatment of animals in
Seminole County, and
WHEREAS, the Winter Springs City Commission finds that it is in the best
interest of the Public for the HUMANE SOCIETY OF SEMINOLE COUNTY, FLORIDA,
INC. to utilize its resources to assist the Winter Springs Police Department and other
appropriate law enforcement agencies in the enforcement of laws regarding the inhumane
treatment of animals and the care of animals found to be in distress.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE WINTER SPRINGS CITY
COMMISSION AUTHORIZES CAROL WOODWARD, PAMELA WILLIAMS, ANNIE
EVANS, JOAN THOMAS, BETTY MUNOZ, JOHN CONNELL, JEAN SARGENT
AND OTHER PERSONS WHO MAY BE APPOINTED BY THE HUMANE SOCIETY
OF SEMINOLE COUNTY, FLORIDA, INC. PURSUANT TO FLORIDA STATUTES
828.03 LAWS OF FLORIDA TO INVESTIGATE INCIDENTS OF INHUMANE
TREATMENT OF ANIMALS, TO ASSIST THE WINTER SPRINGS POLICE
DEPARTMENT AND OTHER APPROPRIATE LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES
WITH THE INVESTIGATION OF INCIDENTS OF INHUMANE TREATMENT OF
ANIMALS IN WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA.
ADOPTED THIS lOth day of July, 2000 IN WINTER SPRINGS, SEMINOLE
COUNTY, FLORIDA.

RESOLUTION
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS, HUMANE SOCIETY OF SEMINOLE COUNTY, INC.
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT it is in the best interest of the animals of SEMINOLE COUNTY that the
HUMANE SOCIETY OF SEMINOLE COUNTY, INC., assist the law en-
forcement officers in enforcing and assisting in matters of inhumane treat-
ment of animals and animals found to be in distress.
2. THAT the following named individuals are deemed, considered and hereby appointed
and designated by the HUMANE SOCIETY OF SEMINOLE COUNTY, INC.,
to be investigators and agents as provided for in Florida Statutes 828.03, Laws
of Florida.
