HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 686 Stormwater Management Utility RESOLUTION NO. 686 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING THE EQUIVALENT RESIDENTIAL UNIT (ERU) FOR A STORMWATER MANAGEMENT UTILITY; CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of Winter Springs, Florida, has determined the need to establish an Equivalent Residential Unit (ERU) for the stormwater managenent utility to determine the mean statistical average impervious area for residential developed property per dwelling unit within the City. WHEREAS, the City Comnission of Winter Springs, Florida has by adoption of Ordinance No. 521 directed that it is necessary to set for the stormwater management utility an Equivalent Residential Unit (ERU) by resolution. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA, THAT: SECTION 1 - The following Equivalent Residential Unit is adopted as being the official statistical average of impervious area for Residential developed property per dwelling unit of 2123 square feet within the City. SECTION II- This Resolution shall remain in force and effect until supplemented, amended, repealed or otherwise altered. SECTION III - All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION IV- This Resolution shall take immediate effect upon the passage and approval. One addresses the equivalent residential unit (ERU); the statistical average of impervious are square footage determined to be one ERU, and the other resolution addresses the monthly fee for one ERU. Please review these resolutions for legal correctness.
