RESOLUTION NO. 599
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA,
ADOPTING THE BUILDING VALUATION DATA PUBLISHED BY
THE SOUTHERN BUILDING MAGAZINE DATED AUGUST, 1985;
ADOPTING FEE SCHEDULE FOR ELECTRICAL APPLICATIONS,
PLUMBING APPLICATIONS, MECHANICAL APPLICATIONS;
SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the authority of Ordinance No. 136 of
the City of Winter Springs, Florida, the City Commission can set inspection
and permit fees by resolution for building, mechanical, electrical and
plumbing permits, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission deems it to be in the public
interest to set the fees for inspection and permit fees pursuant to Ordinance
No. 136.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA:
SECTION I - That the City Commission adopts the Building
Valuation Data published by Southern Building Magazine and updated semi-
annually. Updated copies will be attached hereto, marked as Appendix A and
made a part hereof by reference. The purpose is to bring current the method
of valuation of all structures to be erected in the City of Winter Springs,
Florida. The fee will be $5.00 per thousand value. All Reinspection Fees
shall be $15.00 for all trades. Plan Check Fee shall be $10.00 per unit.
SECTION II - That the Commission adopt Fee Schedule as shown on
the Electrical Application attached hereto marked as Appendix B and made a
part hereof by reference, as the official fee schedule for inspection and re-
inspection fees.
SECTION III - That the Commission adopts Fee Schedule as shown on
the Plumbing Application attached hereto marked as Appendix C and made a part
hereof by reference, as the official fee schedule for inspection and re-
inspections.
SECTION IV - That the Commission adopts Fee Schedule as shown on
the Mechanical Application attached hereto marked as Appendix D and made a
part hereof by reference, as the official fee schedule for inspection and re-
inspection fees.
SECTION V - That the above adopted fee schedules shall remain in
full force and effect until revised by subsequent resolution of the City
Commission of Winter Springs, Florida.
SECTION VI - All Resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict
with this Resolution are hereby repealed.
SECTION VII - This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its passage and adoption.
