HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 461 Mayor/CC/Expenses RESOLUTION NO. 461 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING THE AMOUNT TO BE PAID BY THE CITY TO THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSIONERS ON A MONTHLY BASIS FOR THEIR REIMBURSEMENT FOR EXPENDITURES NATURALLY AND NECESSARILY INCURRED BY THEM PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE NO. 185; CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 185 which was passed and adopted by the City Council for the City of Winter Springs, Florida, on the 13th day of March, 1979, provides for the reimbursement for the Mayor and Councilmen of the City from the City Treasury for expenditures naturally and necessarily incurred by them by virtue of their offices, and WHEREAS, said reimbursement for their expenses is to be established by Resolution. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I - That the Mayor of the City of Winter Springs, Florida, shall be paid the sum of three hundred and fifty dollars ($350.00) per month from the City Treasury to cover the expenditures, naturally and necessarily incurred by the Mayor. SECTION II - That the Commissioner serving as Deputy Mayor of Winter Springs, Florida, shall be paid the sum of two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) per month from the City Treasury to cover the expenditures, naturally and necessarily incurred by the Deputy Mayor. SECTION III - That each City Commissioner for the City of Winter Springs, Florida, shall be paid the sum of two hundred dollars ($200.00) per month from the City Treasury to cover the expenditures, naturally and necessarily incurred by each Commissioner. SECTION IV - This Resolution shall remain in force and effect until supplemented, amended, repealed or otherwise altered. SECTION V - All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION VI - This Resolution shall take effect October 1, 1984.
