RESOLl1rION NO. 320
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA,
PROVIDING FOR THE READOPTION OF THE 1979-1980 FISCAL
YEAR BUDGET AS AMENDED; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS AND
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, House Bill 4-D as amended, was passed by the State
Legislature, and
WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of Winter Springs, Florida,
requires that a budget for a fiscal year be adopted before the first day of
a fiscal year, and
WHEREAS, the property appraiser has been granted extensions
of time for the completion of the assessment rolls thereby precluding the
City of Winter Springs from adopting a budget on or before October 1, 1980,
and
WHEREAS, the State Legislature has made provisions to enable
municipalities to expend moneys until such time as a tentative budget is
adopted pursuant to House Bill 4-D by adopting its prior year adopted budget,
as amended, by resolution, ani
WHEREAS, the City of Winter Springs, Florida, cannot adopt a
tentative budget until October 14, 1980.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA, THAT:
SECTION I - That the City Council of the City of Winter
Springs, Florida, hereby readopts the Fiscal Year 1979/1980 annual budget,
as amended, pursuant to state law.
SECTION II - This Resolution shall remain in force and effect
until such time as the Fiscal Year 1980/1981 Tentative Budget is adopted on
October 14, 1980.
SECTION III - All resolutions or parts of resolutions in
conflict with this resolution are hereby repealed.
SECTION IV - This resolution shall take effect October 1, 1980.
