RESOLUTION NO. 271
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA,
VACATING THOSE CERTAIN RIGHTS-OF-WAY LOCATED WITHIN THE
PROPERTY HEREINBELOW DESCRIBED; CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE
DATE:
Commence at the southerly extension of the East right-of-way
line of Charles Street and extending southeasterly therefrom
to the northerly right-of-way line of the Seaboard Coastline
Railroad, ENTZMINGER FARMS, ADDITION NO.2, according to the
plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 5, Page 9, of the public
records of Seminole County, Florida.
WHEREAS, Georges C. St. Laurent, Trustee being the interested party
in the lands referred to hereinabove, and said party having requested the
City of Winter Springs, Florida, to vacate those certain rights-of-way
located within the property hereinabove described; and
WHEREAS, it has been represented to the City of Winter Springs,
Florida, by Georges C. St. Laurent, Trustee, that he is in fact the fee
simple owner of all the land hereinabove described, and that all property
affected by the requested vacation is presently undeveloped with no streets
or drainage improvements having been constructed to serve the rights-of-way;
and that access to lots adjacent to the affected property will not be
adversely affected; and
WHEREAS, Georges C. St. Laurent, Trustee, has represented to the
City of Winter Springs, Florida, that this request would not adversely
affect any of the adjacent land owners, since no improvements have been
constructed nor are in use at this time; and
WHEREAS, the City of Winter Springs, Florida, feels that it is in the
public interest of the citizens of Winter Springs, Florida, to provide clear
title to the lots located in the above-described property by abandoning the
aforementioned rights-of-way due to the fact that no property interest of
others will be adversely affected.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I - That those certain rights-of-way located within the above-
described property are hereby vacated.
SECTION II - This resolution shall remain in force until supplemented,
amended, repealed or otherwise altered.
SECTION III - All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict
with this resolution are hereby repealed.
SECTION IV - This resolution shall take immediate effect upon its
passage and approval.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 18th day of September, 1979.

Council will hold a public hearing at

1979, or as soon thereafter as
possible to consider the vacation of
those certain rights.of.way located
within the following described
property:
Commence at the southerly ex.
tension of the East right,of.way line
of Charles Street and extending
southeeasterly therefrom to the
northerly right.of.way line of the
Seaboard Coastline Railroad,
ENTZMINGER FARMS, Addition
No. 2 according to the plat thereof
as recorded in Plat Book 5, Page 9,
of the public records of Seminole
County, Florida,
A location map of the above,
described real property shall be
available at the Office of the City
Clerk,of the City of Winter Springs,
Florida, for all persons desiring to
examine the same,
The Public Hearing will be held in
the City Hall, 400 North Edgemon
Ave. Winter Springs, Florida, at
which time interested parties for
and against the above will be heard,

office Manager of the EVENING HERALD, a Newspaper Pub-
lished at Sanford, in Seminole County, Florida; that the attached copy of advertise-
ment, being a Legal Notice in the matter of
Public Hearing re: The Vacation of certain right-of-
way re: CHARLES STREET in the Circuit Court,
was published in said newspaper in the issues of,
September 4, 1979.
Affiant further says that the said EVENING HERALD is a newspaper published by
The Sanford Herald, Inc. at Sanford, in said Seminole County, Florida, and that the
said newspaper has heretofore been continuously published in said Seminole County.
Florida, and has been entered as second class mail matter at the post office in Sanford,
in said Seminole County, Florida, for a period of one year next preceding the first
publication of the attached copy of advertisement; and affiant further says that he
has neither paid nor promised any person, firm or corporation any discount, rebate,
commission or refund for the purpose of securing this advertisement for publication in
the said newspaper.

by the City of Winter'5;prings,
Florida, that the City Council of the
City of Winter Springs, Florida, in
Regular Session on September 18,
1979, adopted Resolution No. 271
