HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 466 Section 9-221 (6) ORDINANCE NO. 466 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA, REPEALING PRESENT SECTION 9-22l(b) AND PROVIDING FOR NEW SECTION 9-22l(b) OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA; REDEFINING EXEMPTION THERETO; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Commission for the City of Winter Springs, Florida, has determined to be in the best interest of the public health, safety and welfare that all developments have sidewalks; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section I: The present Section 9-22l(b) is hereby repealed, and the following replaced therefore: Sec. 9-22l(b): Sidewalks shall be required in all developments unless the City Commission determines it to be in the interest and welfare of the en- vironment to exempt same. Section II: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are repealed. Section III: This ordinance shall take effect upon passage. Passed and adopted this 26th day of March, 1990.
