HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 460 Accessory Buildings ORDINANCE NO. 460 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA, AMENDING SEC. 6-84(b) HEIGHT AND SIZE RESTRICTIONS OF ACCESSORY BUILDINGS OF ARTICLE III. BUILDING CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS: PROVIDING FOR MAXIMUM HEIGHT OF TWELVE (12) FEET MEASURED FROM THE GROUND LEVEL; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Winter Springs, Florida has determined that it is in the best interest of the City of Winter Springs to amend the height and size restrictions of Accessory buildings, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA: SECTION I - That Sec. 6-84(b) Height and size restrictions is hereby deleted in its entirety, and the following replaced therefor: Sec. 6-84. Accessory buildings (b) Height and size restrictions. The maximum height shall be twelve (12) feet measured from ground level. The maximum size of any structure shall be two hundred forty (240) square feet. SECTION II - CONFLICTS. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith being the same are hereby repealed. SECTION III - Severability. If any section or portion of a section or subsection of this ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force or effect of any other section or portion of section or subsection or part of this Ordinance. SECTION IV - Effective date. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. Passed and adopted this 26th day of June, 1989. CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA LEANNE M.
