RESOLUTION NO. 226
WHEREAS, Councilman John Daniels has resigned as
Deputy Mayor of the City of Winter Springs, Florida; and
WHEREAS, Councilman Laurent Pellerin has been elect-
ed Deputy Mayor of the City of Winter Springs, Florida; and,
WHEREAS, Councilman John Daniels is the Finance Comm-
issioner for the City of Winter Springs, Florida; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary that a resolution be passed
authorizing certain signatures to sign checks for and on behalf
of the City of Winter Springs, Florida, during the transitional
period and until otherwise resolved by the City Council of
the City of Winter Springs, Florida.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF
WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA, THAT:
1. Effective June 27, 1978, Deputy Mayor Laurent
Pellerin is authorized to obligate those funds and to sign
those checks which have been delegated the responsibility of
the Deputy Mayor by this City Council.
2. For the transitional period from June 27, 1978,
until August 30, 1978, Councilman John Daniels, as Finance
Commissioner, is authorized to sign those checks which have
been delegated the responsibility of the Deputy Mayor by this
City Council.
3. This resolution is not intended to affect any
other authority previously delegated by this City Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 1st DAY OF August, 1978.
