portion of street, said portion of Stoner Road is more particu-
larly described as follows:
That portion of Stoner Road, lying due North of

Seminole County, Florida.
WHEREAS, the City of Winter Springs, Florida, has de-
termined that to close and vacate the above described portion
of Stoner Road will not be detrimental to the surrounding pro-
perty owners and will not be detrimental to the interests of

WHEREAS, said City of Winter Springs has, on this 5th
day of December, 1977 at its Regular Meeting at
7:30 p.m. at Winter Springs, Seminole County, Florida, con-
sidered said Petition to close a portion of Stoner Road, and

abandoning, discontinuing arid closing the same, and
WHEREAS, no objections have been made to the closing
of said portion of Stoner Road, and it appears to this Council

Dear Sirs:
We have purchased land and built a new home at inter-
section of Hayes Road and Stoner Road. Stoner Road is
an undeveloped roadway North of our property. Since
this roadway dead ends at the back of our property we
are requesting that City Council vacate this roadway
for the following reasons:
1. Our property is zoned R1AA.
2. The property behind us, at the and of
Stoner Road is zoned P.U.D. and since
this will probably be high density, I
don't feel access at this point is
necessary.
3. Presently developed roadways allow adequ-
ate access to this 200 acres; namely Hayes
Road, Bahama Road, and Moss Road.
4. Vacating this road would discourage further
splitting and developing of present lots
bordering it.
We would be willing to pay appropriate legal fees for
vacating this roadway. Your cooperation in this matter
is appreciated.
Sincerely,
Carroll D. Denning
