RESOLUTION 191
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS,
FLORIDA AFFORDING ALL TEMPORARY, FULL-TIME
COMPREHENSIVE EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING ACT
(CETA) EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF WINTER
SPRINGS, FLORIDA ALL BENEFITS AFFORDED PER-
MANENT, FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES.
WHEREAS, on the 12th day of September, 1977 the City
of Winter Springs, Florida adopted a Personnel Policy, and
WHEREAS, the policy includes a system for the re-
cruiting, selecting, developing and maintaining of an
effective and responsive-work force, and which policy in-
cludes policies and procedures for employee hiring and
advancement training and career development, job classifi-
cations, salary administration, retirement, fringe benefits,
discipline, discharge and other related activities,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF WINTER
SPRINGS, FLORIDA:
1. That all temporary, full-time Comprehensive Em-
ployment and Training-Act (CETA) employees of the City
of Winter Springs, Florida with a tenure of more than
three (3) months, shall be granted all benefits afforded
permanent full-time city employees, provided
(a) That the City of Winter Springs, Florida
shall be reimbursed by the Comprehensive Manpower Division,
Seminole County Branch Office, Seminole County Florida,
for all additional costs incurred by providing benefits
to all temporary full-time CETA employees.
2. That all benefits awarded shall be retroactive
to the 17th day of October, 1977.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 24th day of October, 1977.
