RESOLUTION NO. 146
WHEREAS, THOMAS G. FREEMAN has served the City
of Winter Springs, Florida, as City Attorney for the past
eight years, and
WHEREAS, THOMAS G. FREEMAN has distinguished him-
self in his services as City Attorney, and
WHEREAS, THOMAS G. FREEMAN has served in his
capacity as City Attorney with dedication and provided
competent legal services for the City of Winter Springs,
and,
WHEREAS, the citizens and the City Council of the
City of Winter Springs, Florida are desirous of expressing
their appreciation, and
WHEREAS, the services of THOMAS G. FREEMAN has
laid the foundation for the future growth and prosperity
of the City of Winter Springs, Florida,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA
1. That this Resolution of appreciation for the
diligent and competent legal services of THOMAS G. FREEMAN
be recorded upon the Public Records and Minutes of the City
Council of the City of Winter Springs, Florida.
2. That a copy of this Resolution be delivered
to THOMAS G. FREEMAN with our heartfelt thanks for a job
well done.

Motion vas made by Councilman Daniela that .. authorize the change ordera to the
fire truck order to add an engine hour gauge at a coat not to exceed $85.00.
Seconded by Councibun Bunter. D1acuaaion. Vote on the motions Councilman RUDter,

Councilman Browning, aye. motion carried.
Councibun Daniels reported that applications have been received for the three
poaitiou that were aclvert1aed and they have been turned over to the depart1lent
heads for aelection of the people to be hired.
Councilman Browning reported that the price to install a gate in the bicycle path
fence vaa ao prohibitive that the man decided not to install one. .
Attorney Woolfolk will contact the Social Security office in Tallahassee to a..

CounciJaan Hunter reported the Plaaning & Zoning Board is asking for SOll8 d:lrection
on boundaries for the planni. area; it was decided to go to Lake Jessup then one
half ~ile outside of the municipality would be ample.
Motion was made by Councilman Daniels to authorize the police chief to order a tank
truck compartment load of gas not to exceed 1500 gallons while we aaa1yse it. .
