RESOLUTION I 41
WHEREAS, The State of Florida has passed the Seminole
County Comprehensive Land Use Plan of 1974; and,
WHEREAS, Land Use Planners must be appointed by this
City Council by April, 1975; and
WHEREAS, Duplication of effort among the cities in-
volved would greatly increase the cost of the Land Use Planning,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA
1. That the City of Winter Springs supports the
concept of cooperative Land Use Planning on a county-wide basis.
2. That the Seminole County Planning Department shall
provide the Land Use Planning services in conjunction with the
process.
4 . That the City Council of Winter Springs encourages
the co-operation and participation of all municipalities in
Seminole County and recommends that each appoint representatives
for this co-operative planning effort.
5. That a copy of this resolution will be sent to
the governing authority of each municipality of Seminole County,
the Seminole County Commission and the East Central Florida
Regional Planning Council.
