ORDINANCE NO. 291
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA,
AMENDING THE 1983-1984 BUDGET WHICH WAS ADOPTED
PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE NO. 276 OF THE CITY; REPEALING
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY; CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Winter Springs, Florida, adopted its
annual budget pursuant to Ordinance No. 276 of the City of Winter
Springs, Florida, on September 27, 1983, and
WHEREAS, the City must amend its budget to provide for the
appropriation of additional funds and their expenditures; and
WHEREAS, Article VIII, Section 8.06 of the City Charter of the
City of Winter Springs authorizes amendment to the City's budget after
adoption.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA, HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I - That Ordinance No. 276 of the Code of Ordinances,
City of Winter Springs, Florida, is hereby amended to read as follows:
Said Amendment is attached hereto as Exhibit "A". The amend-
ment affixed hereto as Exhibit "A" is hereby declared to be adopted
as the City of Winter Springs, Florida's amended budget for the fiscal
year 1983-1984, amending the budget for the fiscal year October 1, 1983,
through September 30, 1984.
SECTION II - All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION III - If any section or portion of a section or sub-section
of this ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional, it
shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force or effect of
any other section or portion of a section or sub-section or part of this
ordinance.
SECTION IV - This ordinance shall take effect upon final passage
and adoption.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 24th day of April, 1984.
