ORDINANCE NO. 239
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA,
AMENDING THE 1980-1981 BUDGET WHICH WAS ADOPTED
PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE NO. 221 OF THE CITY; REPEALING
ORDINANCES IN CONFLIct HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY;
CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Winter Springs, Florida, adopted its
annual budget pursuant to Ordinance No. 221 of the City of Winter Springs,
Florida, on October 28, 1980, and
WHEREAS, the City must amend its budget to provide for the
appropriation of additional funds and their expenditures; and
WHEREAS, Article VIII, Section 8.06 of the City Charter of
the City of Winter Springs authorizes amendment to the City's budget after
adoption.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA, HEREBY ORDAINS:
SEctION 1 - That Ordinance No. 221 of the Code of Ordinances,
City of Winter Springs, Florida, is hereby amended to read as follows:
Said Amendment is attached hereto as Exhibit "A". The
amendment affixed hereto as Exhibit "A" is hereby declared to be adopted as the
City of Winter Springs, Florida's amended budget for the fiscal year 1980-
1981, amending the budget for the fiscal year October 1, 1980, through September
30, 1981.
SECTION II: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION Ill: If any section or portion of a section or sub-section
of this ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional, it shall
not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force or effect of any other
section or portion of a section or sub-section or part of this ordinance.
SECTION IV: This ordinance shall take effect upon final passage
and adoption.

CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Notice is hereby given by the City Council of the City of Winter Springs,
Florida, that said City Council will hold a public hearing at the City Hall,
400 N. Edgemon Ave., Winter Springs, Fl. on Tuesday, May 12, 1980, at 7:30
p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, to consider an Ordinance entitled
as follows:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA,
AMENDING THE 1980-1981 BUDGET WHICH WAS ADOPrED
PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE NO. 221 OF THE CITY; REPEALING
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICf HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY;
CONFLICfS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
A copy of said Ordinance shall be available at the office of the City
Clerk of the City of Winter Springs, Fl., for all persons desiring to examine
same.
At that time Federal Revenue Sharing Funds will be discussed, and all
citizens have the right to provide oral and written comments and suggestions
respecting the possible uses of Federal Revenue Sharing Funds.
All interested persons are invited to attend and be heard.
This Notice is to be published in the Sentinel Star, a newspaper of general
circulation of the City, one (1) time at least fifteen (15) days prior to the
time of the public hearing.
Please be advised that, under State Law, if you decide to appeal a decision
made with respect to this matter, you will need a record of the proceedings
and may need to ensure that a verbatim record is made.
