AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA
REZONING LOT 12, BLOCK B OF OAK GROVE PARK, AS RE-
CORDED IN PLAT BOOK 7, PAGE 83, PUBLIC RECORDS OF
SEMINOLE COUNTY, FLORIDA, FROM THE PRESENT ZONING
CLASSIFICATION OF PUD TO COMMERCIAL C-2, PURSUANT TO
THE TERMS OF CHAPTER 166.041, OF THE FLORIDA STATUTES;
PROVIDING FOR THE M1END}lliNT OF THE OFFICIAL ZONING
MAP AND THE CITY'S COMPREHENSIVE PLAN; SEVERABILITY;
CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, there has been an application to the City of
Winter Springs, Florida, to rezone Lot B of OAK GROVE PARK, as recorded
in Plat Book 7, page 83, Public Records of Seminole County, from the
present zoning classification of PUD to Commercial C-2 zoning, and
that the owner of the subject property has authorized said application;
and
WHEREAS, the City finds that said requested zoning classi-
fication is in conformity with the present zoning classifications of
other properties in the same immediate area and in conformity with the
Winter Springs Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City has determined that it would be in the
best interest of the City of Winter Springs, Florida, to grant said
rezoning application.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA, HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I - That Lot 12, Block B of OAK GROVE PARK as
recorded in Plat Book 7, page 83, Public Records of Seminole County,
Florida, is hereby rezoned from the present zoning classification of PUD
to the zoning classification of Commercial C-2.
SECTION II - That the City Council of the City of Winter
Springs has determined that a zoning classification of C-2 would be
compatible with the surrounding property within the City, and with the
passage of this Ordinance, the City Council does hereby amend the
Official Zoning Map of the municipal limits of the City of Winter Springs,
Florida, and the City's Comprehensive Plan to include the subject pro-
perty within the above-described designated zoning classification.

SECTION III - If any section or portion of this Ordinance
proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional, it shall not be
held to invalidate or impair the validity, force or effect of any other
section or portion of a section or subsection or part of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV - That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION V - This Ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its final passage and adoption.

AMENDED NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the City Council of the City of
Winter Springs, Florida, that said City Council will hold a public
hearing at the City of Winter Springs Community Building, on Tuesday,
March 27 , 1979, at 7:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible, to
consider an Ordinance entitled as follows:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA
REZONING LOT 12, BLOCK B OF OAK GROVE PARK, AS
RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 7, PAGE 83, OF THE PUBLIC
RECORDS OF SEMINOLE COUNTY, FLORIDA, FROM THE PRESENT
ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF PUD TO COMMERCIAL C-2,
PURSUANT TO THE TERMS OF CHAPTER 166.041 OF THE
FLORIDA STATUTES; PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT OF
THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AND THE CITY'S COMPREHENSIVE
PLAN; SEVERABILITY; CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
A copy of said Ordinance shall be available at the office
of the City Clerk of the City of Winter Springs, Florida, for all per-
sons desiring to examine same.
All interested persons are invited to attend and be heard.
THIS NOTICE is to be published in the Sanford Evening
Herald, a newspaper of general circulation of the City, one (1) time
at least fifteen (15) days prior to the time of the public hearing.
