HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 148 1976-77 Budget ORDINANCE NO.148 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR AN AMENDMENT TO THE 1976-1977 BUDGET ADOPTED PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE NO. 144 OF THE CITY; REPEALING ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE WHEREAS, the City of Winter Springs adopted its annual budget pursuant to Ordinance No. 144 of the City on October 11, 1976 , and WHEREAS, on that date the City of Winter Springs had not received word from the Government of the United States that Federal Revenue Sharing Funds would be extended by the Congress into the year 1977; and WHEREAS, the Congress of the United States did extend the Federal Revenue Sharing Funds into 1977 and the City's share of said funds is in the amount of Twenty-six Thousand Three Hundred Nineteen and no/100ths Dollars ($26,319.00); and WHEREAS, the City must amend its budget to provide for the appropriation of said Funds. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA, HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1: That the budget as amended for the fiscal year October 1, 1976, through September 30, 1977, and as attached hereto in Appendix A is hereby declared to be adopted as the City of Winter Springs, Florida's amended budget for this fiscal year 1976-1977. SECTION 2: That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith shall be and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 3: If any section or portion of section or subsection of this Ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or un- constitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force or effect of any other section or portion of section or subsection or part of this Ordinance. SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of March, 1977. A copy of said Ordinance shall be available at the office of the City Clerk of the City of Winter Springs, Florida, for all persons desiring to examine same.
