HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 120 1974-1975 Budget ORDINANCE NO. 120 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR AN AMENDMENT TO THE 1974-75 BUDGET; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Winter Springs, Florida, has approved a budget for the City for the 1974-75 fiscal year, and WHEREAS, the City is currently operating under the provi- sions and terms provided in the 1974-75 fiscal year budget, and WHEREAS, funds were not specifically designated for the Summer Recreation Program in the 1974-75 fiscal year budget, and WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council of the City of Winter Springs, Florida, to amend the annual budget for the fiscal year 1974-75 in order to provide funding for a Summer Recreation Program within the City. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Winter Springs, Florida, hereby ordains: SECTION 1: That the 1974-75 fiscal year budget for the City of Winter Springs, Florida, is hereby amended and supple- mented by this Ordinance. SECTION 2: That an Account for the 1975 Summer Recreation Program is hereby established within the Public Works Department (Road and Bridges) and shall be designated as Health and Recrea- tion, Line Code 375. SECTION 3: That the 1974-75 fiscal year budget be amended by reappropriating funds from the various departments set forth hereinbelow and allocating them to the Public Works Department (Road and Bridges), Health and Recreation, Line Code 375, in the amount of One Thousand Five Hundred and no/lOO Dollars ($1,500.00) for purposes of providing funds for the 1975 Summer Recreation Program in the following manner: Police Department - Salaries and Wages $800.00 (Line Code 101) Fire Department - Contingencies $500.00 (Line Code 485) Zoning Department - Gas, Oil and Tires $200.00 (Line Code 206) Total Reappropriation $1,500.00 SECTION 4: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith shall be and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 5: If any section or portion of section or sub- section of this ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force or effect of any other section or portion of section or subsection or part of this ordinance. SECTION 6: This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 30th day of June, 1975. FIRST READING June 30, 1975. A copy of said Ordinance shall be available at the Office of the City Clerk of the City of Winter Springs, Florida, for all persons desiring to examine same.
