HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 76 Annexation ORDINANCE NO. 76 AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH ORLANDO, FLORIDA, EXPRESSING THE INTENT OF THE VILLAGE TO EXTEND ITS TERRITORIAL AND MUNICIPAL LIMITS TO ANNEX LANDS SITUATE AND BEING IN SEMINOLE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND DESCRIBED BELOW; ANNEXING SAME TO THE VILLAGE OF NORTH ORLANDO, FLORIDA; REDEFINING THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH ORLANDO TO INCLUDE SAID LANDS WITHIN THE MUNICIPAL LIMITS OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH ORLANDO; AUTHORIZING AMENDMENTS OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH ORLANDO MAP TO INCLUDE THE ANNEXATIONS HEREIN; EFFECTIVE DATE; AND CONFLICTS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH ORLANDO, FLORIDA: 1) That this Ordinance is enacted pursuant to Chapter 171.04, Florida Statutes. 2) That the Village of North Orlando, Florida, hereby declares its intention to annex to the Village of North Orlando, Florida, at the expiration of thirty (30) days from the adoption of this Ordinance, the following described road right-of-way and being in Seminole County, Florida, to-wit: Road Right-of-Way of State Road 434 from intersection of State Road 434 and State Road 419, proceeding to the intersection of State Road 434 and State Road 600 LESS that portion of the above described road previously annexed into the City of Longwood 3} That this Ordinance shall be published once a week for four (4) consecutive weeks in The Sanford Herald, a news- paper in Seminole County, Florida. 4) That the above described tract of land in the aggregate contains less than ten (10) registered electors. 5) That this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its final passage and adoption. 6) That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
