ORDINANCE NO 53
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH ORLANDO,
FLORIDA, EXPRESSING THE INTENT OF THE VILLAGE
TO EXTEND ITS TERRITORIAL AND MUNICIPAL LIMITS
TO ANNEX LANDS SITUATE AND BEING IN SEMINOLE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
BEGIN: 130 feet West and 151.8 feet North of
SE corner of NE1/4 of SW1/4 of SW1/4 of Section
22-20-30, Run North 48o18'30" West 161.1
feet to Easterly Right-of-Way State Road
15-600, thence North 41o41'30" East along
said Right-of-Way 181 feet, thence South 257.8
feet to Beginning, WHICH LANDS ARE LYING
WITHIN TWO MILES OF THE PRESENT BOUNDARIES OF
THE VILLAGE OF NORTH ORLANDO AND WITHIN SEMINOLE
COUNTY; ANNEXING SAME TO THE VILLAGE OF NORTH
ORLANDO, FLORIDA; REDEFINING THE CORPORATE
LIMITS OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH ORLANDO TO
INCLUDE SAID LANDS WITHIN THE MUNICIPAL LIMITS
OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH ORLANDO; AUTHORIZ ING
AMENDMENT OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH ORLANDO MAP
TO INCLUDE THE ANNEXATIONS HEREIN; EFFECTIVE
DATE; AND CONFLICTS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF NORTH ORLANDO, FLORIDA:
1. That this Ordinance is enacted pursuant to Chapter
171.04, Florida Statutes.
2. That the Village of North Orlando, Florida, hereby
declares its intention to annex to the Village of North Orlando,
Florida, at the expiration of thirty (30) days from the adoption
of this Ordinance, the following described parcel of land lying
within two miles of the present boundaries of the Village of
North Orlando, Florida, and being in Seminole County, Florida,
to-wit:
Begin 130 feet West and 151.8 feet
North of SE corner of NE1/4 of SW1/4 of SW1/4
Section 22-20-30, Run North 48o18'30"
West 161.1 feet to easterly Right-of-Way
State Road 15-600, thence North 41o41'30"
East along said Right-of-Way 181 feet,
thence South 257.8 feet to Beginning.
3. That this Ordinance shall be published once a week
for four (4) consecutive weeks in The Sanford Herald, a news-
paper published in Seminole County, Florida.
4. That the above-described tract of land in the
aggregage contain less than ten (10) registered electors; viz,
said tract contains no registered electors.
5. That this Ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its final passage and adoption.
6. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of December, 1970.
