A PROCLAMATION OF THE CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS,
FLORIDA, proclaiming that a General Municipal Election will be held in the
City of Winter Springs, Florida, on Tuesday, November 5, 2002, for the
purpose of electing a Mayor, a Commissioner for Seat/District Two and a
Commissioner for Seat/District Four, each for a four-year term of office.
WHEREAS, the location of the Voting Places will be as set by the Supervisor of Elections for
the County of Seminole.
WHEREAS, the names of the Poll workers which comprise the Election Board will be on file
with the Supervisor of Elections for Seminole County; and the duties and responsibilities of the
members of the Election Board will be as stated in the Laws governing the State of Florida.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA:
SECI10N I - Registration books will close October 7, 2002.
SECTION II - The Pollworkers will be compensated by the Supervisor of Elections for the
County of Seminole.
SECTION ill - The Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday,
November 5, 2002.
NOW THEREFORE, I, PAUL P. PARTYKA, MAYOR OF THE CITY OF WINTER
SPRINGS, do hereby proclaim and call that a General Municipal Election for the City of
Winter Springs will be held on November 5, 2002.
