WHEREAS, Robert Adams and Della Page Gihhs established Page School on January 18,
1908 and with their dazrghter Edith and husband Earle Russell Vaughan,
grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, continzte in leadership roles to insure
the: integrity and continuih~ of the philosophy and vision, ancl,•
WHEREAS, Having established two schools in Central Florida in Seminole (1986) and
Orange (1989) Counties and four schools in Southern California providing
excellence in education since its inception for approximately 45,000 students of
which nearly 9,000 children and 6,000 families ages 2 through grade 8 have
been, and are being served in Central Florida, and,•
WHEREAS, The Florida Pcrge Schools having been accredited internationally by the
C'ommis.sion on International crud Trans-Regional Accreditation. (CITA);
regionally by AdvancED~Southern Association of Colleges and Schools
(SACS CASI); by the Association of Independent Schools of Florida (AISF); the
Floridu Kindergarten Crrzrncil (FKC); and is recognized by the National
Cotmci! for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA), and having received the
Florida Gald Seal of Excellence
WHEREAS, On January 18, 2008, the Page Private School community comes together to
celebrate 100 years of commitment to the positive development of children
academically, physically, and socially
