THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into this a~ ~` day of 2 02, by and
between the CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS, Winter Springs, Florida, hereinafter referred to as the
"CITY", and CODY& ASSOC/AYES, /NC,, a corporation chartered in the State of Florida, with office
in Cocoa Beach, Florida, hereinafter called the "CONSULTANT".
1NITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, THE CITY is desirous of having an outside firm conduct a Salary Study; and,
WHEREAS, Cody & Associates, /nc., is experienced in this type of study and is able and willing
to conduct such a study for the CITY;
NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the mutual covenants and agreements
hereinafter set forth, the parties hereto covenant and agree as follows:
CONSULTANT AGREES to provide an update of the City's Compensation Plan which includes
a salary survey of all City positions.
THE CITY AGREES to provide:
A. Information relating to the Study as required by the Consultant.

B. Access to such records and other related information that may be needed to enable
the Consultant to carry out the project.
C. Access to employees and employee work sites as necessary to enable the Consultant
to complete the analysis and research.
D. Pay the Consultant the total sum of Four Thousand Dollars (54,000.00) which
includes all expenses and fees at the submission of the final report, in accordance with
the provisions of the Florida Prompt Payment Act.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused these present to 6e executed in their
proper names, by their duly authorized officers, and their respective signatures hereunto affixed.
