Dear Mayor Kulbes:
American Home Week, a celebration designated by the National Association of
REALTORS@ to call attention to the importance of private property rights and
the desire to improve our homes and communities, is scheduled for April 18-
25, 1993.
This annual event attempts to achieve its goals through education, public
relations and community service between the nation's REALTORS~ and the public
in which they serve.
In honor of American Home Week, the members of the Greater Orlando Association
of REALTORS~ will be participating in a number of activities, including its
annual "Paint-O-Town" in which REALTORS@ spend a day painting homes for the
needy, an essay contest and an art contest for children of all ages,
presentations of local grants and charitable donations, and a celebration of
the 25th Anniversary of the Fair Housing Act.
At this time, the Greater Orlando Association of REALTORS~ requests that the
City of Winter Springs officially proclaim April 18-25, 1993, as American Home
Week in Winter Springs, Florida. A proclamation from your office would assist
the efforts of our members to better inform the public in our constant quest
of "Keeping the American Dream Alive."
Thank you for your cooperation.
