OFFICE OF THE MAYOR
CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA
PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, Billy Graham is an internationally recognized individual of
superlative integrity; and
WHEREAS, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association has an established
reputation for seeking the highest and morally best for each
community to which they bring their Crusades; and
WHEREAS, these high standards are sought through the betterment of the
individuals within that community; and ."
WHEREAS, the man, Billy Graham, does not seek this reputation except
as it is honoring Jesus Christ, whom he serves; and
WHEREAS, community leadership from across Central Florida have actively
sought for years the deployment of a Billy Graham Crusade for
our area,
NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOHN V. TORCASO, Mayor of the City of Winter Springs,
hereby do Proclaim the week of April 10 - 17, 1983, as
"BILLY GRAHAM WEEK"
in the City of Orlando.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I hereunto
have set my hand and caused the
seal of the City of Winter Springs
to be affixed this 4th day of April,
