Last year, recommendations for a standard sign code along Hwy 17/92 were drafted by
a sign committee formed by the Seminole County Chamber of Commerce, and although
never adopted, these recommendations which are attached, are provided for your
information and could serve as a starting point in our discussions.
As it is extremely important that staff representatives from all jurisdictions participate in
the development of the recommendations for standardized sign regulations, please make
every effort to attend the meeting, or send an alternate that is knowledgeable with your
sign code and can represent your city's best interest at the staff meeting.
Please call me if you have any questions and I look forward to seeing you on the 17th.
