REQUEST FOR
APPROVAL:
Declare fire hose as surplus
property and authorize disposal
Motion:
Moved by Commissioner Hauck, seconded by Commissioner
Fernandez, to approve declaration of fire hose as surplus
property and authorizing disposal. Motion carried
unanimously.
6.
DISCUSSION:
Appointment of member to the
Seminole County Expressway Authority
Motion:
Moved by Commissioner Fernandez, seconded by Commissioner
Hauck, to endorse Bettye Smith for appointment to the
Seminole County Expressway Authority. Motion carried
unanimously.
7.
DISCUSSION:
Little League Youth Baseball
Chaney Mason, attorney representing Little League parents,
addressed the Commission stating he had signed petitions by 1200
voters in Altamonte Springs. he stated he will meet with Bill
James and three parents each from Babe Ruth and Little League to
resolve that issue. He requested this issue be tabled until after
this meeting.
The Commission applauded this action.
Motion:
Moved by Commissioner Lerner, seconded by Commissioner
Fernandez, to table this discussion until after the
meeting between the City, Little League and Babe Ruth.
Motion carried unanimously.
