To: Commissioner Pat Warren, CALNO Chairman
From: Herb Hardin, Current Planning Manager ~B ~
Subject: Standardized Sign Regulations
A31 mentioned at last weeks work session on the Land Development Code changes, I
have not been able to set up a meeting with the various dty staff represenatives to discuss
possible sign code standard$ because three of the cities have not yet apparently designated
a staff person to serve on the committee. As oftbis ~ I still have not received the
names of the staff tnembers that wiIl,epresent Altamoote Spring$, Oviedo and Lake Mary.
Please remind the CALNO members from those cities that they need to make their
appointments to the Sign StaAdardization Committee if there is still a desire to formulate a
standard sign code. W1thout 100% support from all members ofCALNO, a standardized
sign code will never become a reality.
A3 soon as I receive the additional pawe&.. I wiD coordinate seUing up the first meeting.

!Cevia Grace. Deputy County Manager/Community SeMces
Tony Vanderworp, Planning and Development Director.
