AS.a group or as individual members, we would be willing to assist in any manner you deem appropriate. Please feel free to contact me or any member of the Council if further information is needed. COUNCIL OF LOCAL GOVERNMENTS IN SEMINOLE COUNTY Legislative Policy Statement - 1992 I The council of Local Governments in Seminole County encourages you to: Support an equilized funding formula for Seminole County School Board whereby Seminole County receives funding per student at a rate comparable to other counties in the State. support Seminole Community College's request for access to parking. support Preservation 2000. suPP?rt legislation that allows a local government to recel. ve revenues via "partial year assessments" or "interim service fees" on new construction upon issuance of a certificate of occupancy. Support legislation to develop a state water resources management policy to be implemented within the existing comprehensive planning process and which deals responsibly and equitably with issues of local government administration.
