Re: IPA Grant
Dear Mayor Floyd:
The City of Longwood will be happy to participate in your
proposed IPA Grant program request. I believe that a
coordinated effort by all of the participants involved
should provide a more comprehensive end product with very
little deviation in policy between municipalities.
Longwood had begun negotiations with the Department of
Community Affairs for help in completing some of the same
programs; however, a recent check with their office indi-
cates the assistance they intend to provide is at least
six months hence.
The City Commissioners approved the enclosed Resolution
#384 back in April which states we intend to take advantage
of the Department of Community Affairs program. If this
resolution will not suffice, let me know and we will up-
date it to indicate the actual grant participations.
Sincerely,
Jete{ ,*-rr-&~)
