Neiswender Jeff Etchberger Seminole County City of Sanford Seminole County City of Casselberry City of A1tamonte Springs City of Lake Mary City of Longwood Seminole County Seminole County The meeting was called to order at 7:40 P.M. by the Chairman, Bo Simpson,in the City Manager's Conference Room at City Hall, Sanford, Florida. He introduced Mrs. Harrison and said that CALNO had allocated $300.00 to be paid for secretarial services for the Tax Equalization Committee for 20 meetings. He informed the committee he had met in a Work Session and hoped that a series o~ meetings will lead to a compromise between the cities and the County. The meeting was then turned over to Roger Neiswender and Jeff Etchberger for discussion on the information compiled for the Committee on the County Budget distribution for the last fiscal year, and a projection of the 1978/79 Budget. Mr. Simpson gave the members a form from the Seminole County Property Appraiser's Office on which the Budget figures could be transferred and a method of determining whether or not double taxation exists in a particular category. After discussion and explanation of expenditures and receipts within the Building, Planning and Land Development Divisions, it was the general feeling that these areas are self sustaining and ad valorem taxes are not involved. Mr. Nieswender agreed to bring the Public Safety Officer to the next meeting and the topic for discussion would be Road Funding and information on the Federal Revenue Sharing Fund and how the money is being used. It was decided the next meeting would be held on Tuesday, Feb. 20, 1979 in the City Manager's Conference Room, City Hall, Sanford, FL. There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
