- Preparing Seminole County for Build Out -
Featuring business and industry leaders from Cobb County, Georgia
WILLIAM A. "BILL" COOPER
PRESIDENT AND CEO OF THE COBB CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
A former Cobb County, Georgia County Commissioner since 1991 and retired Delta Airlines pilot and instructor, Bill has lived through the
growth and suburban sprawl in this upscale Atlanta area. With our comparable attributes, Seminole County can learn from his insight and
experience. We thank him for taking time out to speak to us.
~ SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER OF THE COBB CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
Since 1994, Don has served as the Economic Development Director for Cobb County, GA. He has worked with the business community
and advised the Board of County Commissioners and the County Manager, helping to attract new business while encouraging growth and
retention. Sharing his focus on enhancing the business environment will be especially meaningful to the members of PBAS.
TONY VANDERWORp, AICP
DIRECTOR OF PLANNING AND ENVIRONMENT - WASHTENAW COUNTY, MICHIGAN
Tony is the past Director of Planning and Development for Seminole County and was instrumental in the organization of the first Seeking
Shared Solutions Forum ten years ago. He will add a new perspective to Seminole County's future by relating the fiscal stability and
construction activity of built-out communities in the Detroit Metropolitan area. Don't miss it.
This is the 3rd in a series of events seeking solutions for growth in Seminole County
