RFP 03-23-2 PH Grant Compliance Services - Award contract to Pegasus Engineering
SUMMARY
The City of Winter Springs staff are aware that there is significant grant funding
available from various governmental agencies that would greatly assist in meeting the
City's current and future needs. In order to sufficiently access these grant funds, the
City staff are seeking approval from the City Commission to negotiate the Scope of
Services and respective fees with Pegasus Engineering - Contract RFP 03-23-2 for Grant
Compliance Services, a continuing services contract. The Grant Writer would assist City
staff in the often-complicated process of seeking grant funding from various sources.
The Selection Evaluation Committee graded each of the 5 respondent's RFQ packages
and scored them as provided in the attached grading sheets.
RECOMMENDATION
City staff is seeking approval from the City Commission to approve Pegasus
Engineering contract RFP 03-23-2 for Grant Compliance Services. The City of Winter
Springs requires the services of a Grant Writer to navigate the process of seeking grant
funding from various governmental sources. Additionally, Staff recommends
authorizing the Interim City Manager and the City Attorney prepare and execute any
and all documents consistent with this agenda item.
