Dear Mr. Maitland:
The City of Winter Springs is grateful to have residents who volunteer their time to our Advisory Boards and
Committees. Important decisions regarding our community are dependent on Committees such as the Parks and
Recreation Advisory Committee in which you have been serving. Of course, when decisions are being discussed, it
is imperative that all Appointed Members attend their respective Board and Committee Meetings.
As you know, the City is governed by Ordinances, thus in accordance with the City of Winter Springs’ Code of
Ordinances, your absences from recent scheduled Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee Meetings have now
exceeded the permitted limit and based on this, I regret to inform you that you have been automatically removed
from the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee.
