I'm interested in serving on a board or committee on veterans affairs in Winter Springs because it aligns deeply with both my professional and personal goals. Currently, I'm pursuing a master’s in clinical mental health counseling, with a focus on trauma and PTSD, and I believe my background in marketing and public relations, combined with over a decade of experience consulting for national brands, sports teams, and entertainment clients, could be a valuable asset to this role. I bring expertise in content marketing, event management, and strategic communication, which I believe could help effectively raise awareness, drive engagement, and support initiatives aimed at improving mental health resources for veterans in our community. This role would also allow me to contribute meaningfully to veterans' well-being, leveraging both my professional skills and my commitment to understanding and addressing trauma and PTSD. I have over a decade of experience in marketing and public relations, consulting for national brands, sports teams, and entertainment clients, with specialized skills in content marketing, event management, and strategic communication. Currently, I’m pursuing a master’s in counseling with a focus on trauma and PTSD, equipping me with valuable insights into mental health, particularly in trauma-informed care. This combination of expertise would allow me to support the board’s initiatives by effectively promoting mental health resources, engaging the community, and contributing to programs that address veterans' specific mental health needs.
